For those of you who follow my blog but not necessarily my sister's, please check out the link I have posted at the beginning of this blog. It puts mine in a whole new perspective. I always knew that what my sister was doing as a teacher was incredible, but I didn't realize the toll it takes on certain aspects of her life. So, if you have a few minutes, please check out this specific post.
As Courtney is reading this, I am sure she wasn't expecting me to put these post on my post, but it seems like the least I can do (aside from donating, which I WILL be doing!). I don't think anyone who is not a teacher can fully appreciate what good teachers like my sister and so many of my extended family do for students. So, if you know someone you love that is a teacher, read my sister's post and help out a loved one!
As for me, I started my job as a part-time admissions counselor today! But more on that in a different post. This one is strictly for my sister. I love you!
Thank you thank you thank you. This was very sweet and thoughtful. Love you tons!
ReplyDeletePS--Save yourself the postage and donate to a teacher or school near you. :)
Agreed! I can't even imagine how much of my paycheck is about to be donated to Wal*Mart's school supply section!
